Our health and safety advisers can visit your site with a view to drafting your company’s Health and Safety policy. Not only will this policy help you to comply with the law, it will also be an important working document to ensure effective ongoing health and safety management.
Whether relating to a specific incident or highlighting an area of potential risk, our health and safety bulletins are an important way to maintain your staff’s health and safety awareness. Mailed out to you as and when significant incidents and new legislation arises, the bulletins highlight how directors are affected by any changes.
We can assist you to draft out a set of safe operating procedures for activities and processes.
Our health and safety advisers can recommend effective health and safety procedures for working practices, health and safety management and dealing with incidents.
Our health and safety advisers can act as a ‘competent person’ under Regulation 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999, providing external advice on your ongoing health and safety requirements. By acting as your Safety Officer on an annual retainer basis, we ensure you have a Safe-n-Sure certificate of Safety Membership as well as access to our health and safety advice helpline. Our Safety Officer can be put on your organisational chart and provide advice and support when liaising with insurance companies.
From a laminated, pocket-sized card to a detailed booklet, Safe-n-sure can provide a dedicated health and safety handbook to provide a useful on-site reference for all issues of health and safety relevant to the client.
Unsafe Acts / Near Miss Reporting
Safe-n-Sure can assess your working practices to identify and address unsafe acts. We can also implement procedures to ensure staff and management can highlight on an ongoing basis both unsafe acts and near misses, with a view to removing these risks.
By encouraging clients to proactively implement an Unsafe Acts Reporting System, we can help them avoid further and worse accidents in the work place.
Safety Data for Board Meetings
Our health and safety advisors can provide accurate and up to date information on the status of your company’s health and safety performance.
